Forever New's exotic tribute
Getting exotic on the high street can get you into trouble, depending on the postcode, but fashion label Forever New was willing to run the risk with the Melbourne launch of their new collection at the Spice Market. “What a perfect place for the range launch,” said Vogue Australia’s executive fashion editor Emma Wyeth. “It really matches the collection.”
Rather than ignore the elephant in the spacious room, not an actual elephant but the recent death of Michael Jackson, the show paid tribute to the King of Pop, with models tastefully accessorising their outfits with black fedoras and white gloves. Fortunately, all moves busted on the catwalk were not too exotic for the young crowd, who just might have been hearing Billie Jean for the very first time.
