I'm surprised there wasn't a thread for this yet. I rarely visit this part of the forum. Anyway, the draw was today and these are the groups:

We're in a very tough group with Spain and Chile, and if we advance we'll likely face Brazil in the next round :eek: At least the games will be exciting. Looking forward to group D and G as well, the teams are so close!

Nice game to bad the penalty controversy.

My predictions were right 3 - 1.
Today i think will be 2 - 2 between Spain and Netherlands.

I saw the first game too, and wasn't very pleased ...I didn't have any predictions actually although I thought Brazil would win, which they did.
The penalty wasn't deserved at all ...I felt sorry for the Croatian people :( , I hope you don't mind?

Wow, the Netherlands knocked out Spain. That was embarassing for the defending champions!
 
Seem the spanish team was "chopped to paella" yesterday.
Think final will be Brasilia and Holland.

Hoe very disappointing Portugal played .. Dor the first time in my life, i felt sorry dor Ronalda
He must be thinking: WTF?!!!

I wished for Portugal to win , i hope they will show us their talented team next time

No i don't play soccer but my husband and kids do
I Watched them a lot and we watch soccer on Tele a lot
Actually soccer is the only thing we watch :)
 
I watched some games on CBC since they started and I was really done watching hockey since the LA Kings now won the Stanley Cup, the very first game I saw was Chile vs Australia and I watched a few since then. Yesterday before the Iran vs Nigeria game CBC's Andi Petrillo talks about the band in Rio de Janeiro, she mentions that Paul Simon took part and she even mentions Michael took part ("They Don't Care About Us") I was really she mentions Michael. I just tweeted her to thank her for mentioning Michael.
