I love them. Ever since I was a small child, I always rooted for the evil guy to win. Needless to say, he never did. There is something about misunderstood villains that I can totally relate to--they somehow seem more human than your typical heroes. Mainly, because villains are but fallen, jaded, beaten, kicked-around heroes. That's my hypothesis, anyway.
So, with that being said, I think it's about time for them to be getting some love. So post pics of your favourite villains and tell us their names and what show/movie/book they're from. =D
I'll go first:
Name: Claude Frollo, Archdeacon of Josas (or Judge if you go by the Disney version.)
From: Victor Hugo's Notre-Dame de Paris, my favourite book in the whole wide world. Adaptiations include several films and a French-Canadian musical of the same name.
(This is Alexander Marakulin playing Claude Frollo in the Russian version of the musical.)
...yes, I have recently relapsed into my Notre-Dame de Paris obsession lol.
