What are your favorite tag lines from movies?

Mine are

''Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water'' - Jaws 2
''When there's no room in hell the dead will walk the earth'' - Dawn Of The Dead
''In space no one can hear you scream'' - Alien
''Something has survived'' - The Lost World: Jurassic Park

Arsenic and Old Lace - "Insanity runs in my family. It practically gallops!"
B.D. - "We, the Romanians, have some curse words...tres jolie. Comme Il faut." :)

i don't even think hollywood knows they were speaking to themselves, with this universal line from 'A Few Good Men' from Jack Nicholson's character:

"You can't Handle the Truth!!"

That famous line isn't the tagline. The tagline is "In the heart of the nation's capital, in a courthouse of the U.S. government, one man will stop at nothing to keep his honor, and one will stop at nothing to find the truth."

Source: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104257/

judging from the quotes taken from films outside the usa, here in this thread, it's hard to tell the difference. how come you didn't pick those posts?

after all, it is suggested in wiki that the tag line from a movie from a long time ago..'love story' was coined by the actors themeselves..so that would suggest that it was in the movie. and that tag line is this:
Ali McGraw and Ryan O’Neal coined the phrase: “Love means never having to say you’re sorry.”"

nobody can remember the pharse you used. so how could it market the movie? but the reason you, admitted(unawares, apparently)..the word 'famous', is why ''You can't handle the truth', defines 'A Few Good Men.'. it's called 'marketing'.

I am not responsible for coining that "phrase" or utilizing it as the movie's tagline.:rolleyes:The phrase was coined by the marketing department at Columbia-Tri-Star before the movie was released. I am perfectly aware of the cultural saturation and effectiveness of the line "You can't handle the truth." Perhaps you are not aware that it is exceedingly rare for dialogue from a movie to be used as the tagline.

exceedingly rare, but not non existent. seeing that many companies revised their taglines, when they saw what part of the movie was keeping it in peoples' minds, and seeing that the genre is vague in it's premise, i don't see why i shouldn't bend the rules right along with them.

i didn't even watch the entire movie. but when it was advertised, that line is what they used to advertise it. can you say, they broke their own rules, much? it was the company's decision to do that, despite what's in that link.
after all, they are about making money.
