ET's Jermaine Jackson Exclusive!

I don't disagree it was the starting point, but if he so great why wasn't he doing this before his brother died. A true artist continues to promote even if it independently. I think that is what most of us are saying. He did not have the showmanship that MJ had. MJ made you want to look at him even when he was ten. They were still successful when Jermaine did not remain with the group. A bass is a bass is a bass. Honestly, I like Jermaine, but to say he is all that no I can't. Of course, this is my opinion.

Jermaine WAS doing promotion, TV appearances, interviews and charity work b4 Michael passed. The difference is now there is more media hype and the whole world is paying attention unlike before when hardly anyone knew or cared about what he was doing with his career.

Don't say everyone.

Excuse me? I'm not sure what you're trying to say, would you care to elaborate? I'm not sure I understand your post. I didn't see anyone clamoring to interview Jermaine before Mike's passing, if that's what you're talking about. I didn't say "everyone", but I can say it if I like, don't tell me what I can't say, that's my opinion, I didn't know that you were the boss around here.

Look, I love the Jackson 5 and Jermaine. Heck, I love the whole family even Joe, but I had a distaste for Jermaine back in the day when he stayed with Motown. I know he was in a very awkward position but business is business. He made that decision to stay. Who knows where his career may have gone if he would have followed his brothers. I believe he is carrying that jealousy around and it comes out with some of the things he do and say when it comes to his brother Michael. This has been a longtime thing between the two of them. Is it abnormal? NO. Most families have the same type of rivalry. Theirs is just played out in public. I have no doubt in my mind he loves his brother and misses him but if he truly wants to have a career right now cut back on some of the face time so it will not look as if he is an opportunist. Unfortunetly, perception counts a hell of a lot in this screwd up society. I'm not a hater of any of them. They were the stuff for Black folks. I thought they were royalty growing up. If they could make it out of poverty; I knew I could. I still have my opinions about them. The way I have about my own family so don't take offense. I just see them like my own relatives.

Ex-Wife to Jermaine: Yo' Mama Pays My Bills

Posted Oct 17th 2009 9:00AM by TMZ Staff
Jermaine Jackson's baby mama claims the singer has left her so dirt poor ... that she's been forced to accept supermarket gift cards from Jermaine's mom just so she can feed the kids.

Alejandra Jackson filed legal documents in L.A. County Superior Court claiming Jermaine is a deadbeat dad who hasn't paid $35,550 in court-ordered child support payments for their two kids, Jermajesty and Jaffar.

In the docs Alejandra says Jermaine's own mother sees how bad the situation is and often bails her out with "gift cards to Ralphs in varying months so that I can pick up food for our children, usually between $300 and $400."

Alejandra also claims Jermaine was lying to the court when he claimed he only made $35k in 2008 -- pointing out that he lives in the same "estate home" in Calabasas, drives the same "luxury vehicles" and has the same "luxury lifestyle" he had before.

The two are due back in court to battle it out -- so far, no date has been set.

I understand what you are saying and I don't see them as perfect either, especially Jermaine. I just don't see why some ppl are blindly attacking him without knowing much about what he had been doing b4 Michael passed (although I do understand that some ppl have just always had a problem with Jermaine).
