eBay question re: international shipping

Ive been selling stuff on ebay now for around 4 years and never sent any item abroad.
Ive only just sold 2 things both worth in excess of £50.00 to 2 international bidders.
1 from america and 1 from italy.
What is the most secure way of sending them as ive read lots of stuff regarding goods going "missing" internationally.

Also have you ever sent anything abroad and how long did it take to get there ?

i think it is best going to your local postoffice and asking them what is the safest way to send things abroad or the quickest.

Yeah.. make sure you get a receipt from them in case it does go missing.. that was your not liable.. you should ask the buyer if he or she wants to take out insurance.


It takes about a week to arrive at the destination.. though that depends on the courier
