During the 80's why did Michael never get involved in WrestleMania?

Or even in the 90's, big stars like Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Mr T, Cyndi Lauper did. And it seems like the thing Michael could have done. Sing National Anthaem or America The Beautiful then more songs or entrances.
Any thoughts?

Not that he hadnt the opportunity ...,maybe religious belives ? i know JW are not alowed to sing for a Nation , but only for God .
