he says he's not in trouble. i don't know anybody who would spin it any other way. they use the word 'restructuring'. i've heard that the word 'restructuring' means people losing jobs..but hey..what do i know. lol

so, what do you think? when people say there is a recession, is it everybody's recession, or is it a recession only for those individuals who think it is a recession? do you think Donald is suffering, or is his state of mind the kind that could keep the recession from being his recession? does it matter how much money you have, in order for you to think you can be affected by an announcement of a recession? do you think all wealthy people are affected, or just some? do you think all non wealthy people are affected, or, just some? are you affected, or do you think you are not affected by the announcement of a recession? take your pick of what questions you want to answer, lol

oops..i thought this was in general discussion, i didn't mean for it to be in Michael Jackson general discussion, could a mod please put this in general discussion? thanks.

I think it affects even people who make lots of money, you will see lots of big organizations that make tons of money cutting back in various ways, and if they dont, expect those businesses to go out of business, with the credit crunch, recession, whatever its being called, everyone is being affected. For everyone right now, its about how they manage their money and I think it affects the filthy rich as being demonstrated by Mr. Trump.

well..the reason why i asked, is because there are two organizations that i heard about that say they are not affected..and they act as if they are not affected. one is a baseball team in america called 'the new york yankees'. they are writing up enormous contracts for baseball players. one was for a guy to go for ten years at one hundred eighty million dollars. for them, it was as if there was no recession, and they said as much. the other is a wealthy oilman who owns an nfl football team. he built a billion dollar stadium that he is opening next year. his name is Jerry Jones. he has not acted as if there is a recession. so far, neither organization has acted as if they are losing business.

hmmmm im not sure about they're organisations however the nfl and baseball are hugely popular in the USA and I cant imagine that advertising is down with these organisations at all in these troubling times, so wherever they get their funding, they must be putting it to the better use of the players contracts because without them, the leagues and organisations dont exist. The WWE wrestling is the same, the wrestlers contracts wont be changed, their guaranteed money wont be affected because it would breach their contracts, however merchandise, royalities and such may be reduced as will the money they make from the attendance at shows which may be affected by the recression, I know the WWE have tried to reduce losses for the company by going to smaller arenas on their low key shows, there will be some sort of restructuring in various corporations in order to cut losses and save on spending. I guess all organisations wont be affected in the same way, but the way they do business will change in some way or another.
