Lol, its the other way around. The whole line was inspired by Michael.
 
so maybe this is a stupid question because i am not really one to pay attention to what he wears really unless it is a stage outfit. is he wearing womens clothing in the pictures on that blog then, or are the outfits designed for men too???

i wouldn't say ''copy'', alot of celebs wear stuff off runways. its made to be worn by people who can afford it.
but yes he was the inspiration of runway fashion designers, BEFORE he died. it was all over the fashion magazines. but those particular clothes in the photos aren't as mj inspired looking on the outside as the other obvious stuff, so maybe you couldn't see it.

but at their site you can see one of their mj inspired jacket on the front page.

oh dear so many designers took inspiration from MJ, not only Balmain! his style was so unique and innovative so many copied him

and yes, he wore clothing from the women's collections and it's ok I think, he even wore them better then females :)
