does anyone notice that music videos just doesn't feel the same anymore

is it just me or music videos just feel same thing since mj died to be honest i hardly ever watch music videos anymore it just doesn't feel the same anymore

i know exactly how you feel, it used to be cool anticpating videos from mj and other artists but now i hardly watch videos, same with music if i listen to any type of music for more than 3 hours i get music sick lol like seriously i don't listen to music for days, like a tummy ache
i talking mainstream music though ( that's what turm me to listen to classics or old school i guess you can say)

Yeah music videos aren't veriy good anymore. Of course it doesn't help that channels like VH1 or MTV don't hardly ever show videos, and when they do, they add crap to them, like the artists talking about the making of the video/song....fans saying how good it is, etc etc.

That's why I watch VH1 Classics. They show the old videos......the era when videos were damn good.

o definitey! id be surprised if anyone HASNT realized that yet. People are not trying at all and some are just trying WAY too hard. Gaga for example has videos that have nothing to do with her music but just gain attention.

If you ask me, music in general is done with. I'll stick with my MJ collection thank you very much! :D

So true...! =(
Sometimes it feels like it is all worthless, senseless and boring when you watch some music videos or listen to Michael's music cuz' everytime you do that you definitely know that he won't be coming back anymore. Tho' on the other hand sometimes it's not that bad and you just want to put in his music videos, his albums and all that, listen to it and just celebrate him and enjoy your time! =)

The music today is not about anything than money, girls, sex, and I don't know what..

Most music videos today are boring and look a like.

So were the old 1980s videos by Van Halen, Whitesnake, 2 Live Crew, Motley Crue, Loverboy, Rick James, Billy Idol, Z.Z. Top, Vanity 6, and many other acts. Sex and money has always been in music in every decade. As far as today's music videos go, I don't watch them because I'm not interested in the music. The last time I watched videos regularly was in the Color Me Badd/Ace Of Base days, lol. That was about the time I quit listening to the radio. I occasionally see a video that's interesting like the ones OutKast makes.

Music videos are definitely not how they used to be, I just think artists try waaay too hard now and appear desperate in their music videos. Lady Gaga and Beyonce spring to mind.
