Disney reveals rides that never happened: animatronic Michael Jackson

A moon-walking, animatronic Michael Jackson. A uranium exhibit. A crocodile aquarium inside the mouth of a big crocodile model.



When America Sings was closed for 12 years, Disney came up with several concepts inside the building that now holds Innoventions. In the 1980s, creators thought of Star Palace, in which a rocket ship landed and a show would emerge. The show would star an animatronic, moon-walking Michael Jackson, aliens and characters described as, “Wild, Untamed. Huge Hooters from Hoth.”
