I think GITM is better then DD overall.

the song is something we all can relate to. Where DD is about groupies. And Slash solo to me is one the best ever.

the video. DD is sexy, yes but more for the ladies. where GITM is coool and also for the guys.

DD is liked more by none fans and GITM is seen as DD part 2, because of the video. But its more then that.


GITM is my 3rd fav song of MJ.

Sory if there is thread about that. didn't find any.
 
GITM is way more rock'ish than DD. I would have to chose GITM too, though I personally find Slash and his solos completely overrated. I mean, he's good and all, but he's certainly not as 'great' as people claim he is.

Put him next to Angus Young, Kirk Hammett , Brian May or Tony Iommi and you'll heard/see exactly how mediocre he is.

But yeah, GITM is the better song compared to DD, both lyrically and musically speaking. Of course, that's just my opinion.
