Thinking about the Dangerous performance, which begins very "James Bond like" (theme), I wonder if Michael liked Bond movies. Did he ever talk about 'em?

He probably liked those movies. I don't remember he said anything, but you can hear a snip of the James Bond theme in the Dangerous performance.

He might like the films, the "Thunderball" gunbarrel theme is at the beginning of the Dangerous performance. I'm not sure if he publicly talked about it. BTW 007's 50th film anniversary is next year, as is the 25th anniversary of BAD

In this interview, when asked about some of their fave actors, Michael mentions 'James Bond'. Well first, Jackie answers that he likes James Cagney, then Michael says he likes James Bond, lol (not saying Sean Connery). ^^ Thought it was cute.

Michael was in general a big fan of movies, so I'm sure that he had seen some James Bond movies and proberly liked them.

interesting, didn't know the theme was specifically from Thunderball!

Cool :). Is this video online?

Great, thx :).

Shortly before the O2 concerts were going to happen, there were news Michael wanted to arrive per ship for each concert and was quoted he like it as it was "very James Bond" :D. I read it was a hoax though, anybody know if this is true?

If he actually said that, I wonder if when mentioning this he thought about the water chase in the Bond movie "The world is not enough", which ends directly at the O2 arena.

Michael was a fan of films in general from A Goofy Movie which i've seen footage of him looking at on youtube to getting a special screening of the matrix, he must have seen at least one

really? There is footage of Michael looking at a youtube video?!? This must have been very recent?

not sure why you point out Thunderball. Don't all older Bond moves (up to about at least 1985) start like that?

The very first two notes of the gunbarrel are the same (sound-wise) as the opening of Dangerous

I think Blue Gangster is a perfect theme song for a Bond film. It'd be great if they used it and do a story line around that song.

The arrangement of the song. Each Bond film has a different variation of the theme in the gunbarrel (except Casino Royale or Dr. No)
