Being JW in the early days..... I always wondered what their promotion was like when they released the christmas album. I love that album! Must of been a little awkward for them to record it though. I had friends who were JW in elementary school and they were forced out of the music classroom when we were learning christmas tunes.

I don't think it was known about their faith in 1970. I know Randy's first show was a 1971 Christmas show for the blind where they sang songs from the album. It did very well but I haven't seen them do any of the songs on the old clips so I don't know how much they promoted it.

I love the brothers. I would also love to hear more stories of lil Mike. He used to be quite a handful as a kid according to Katherine and La toya... :lol: (sigh)

I miss him so much...
