I read on other messageboard that there was a test demo disc from 1991 that contained
alternate version/mixes of the Dangerous album?
Also read about a 2 disc sampler from 2001 that should have been the Dangerous-special edition but in the end this release was cancelled......1 disc release followed instead.
Any truth in this at all?If yes did they include any new songs that didnt make it to the original album?

I don't know, but I have a cd on the computer, thats named Dangerous: The REAL special edition that includes some of the unreleased songs from the dangerouse session, like Monkey bussiness, She got it, Serious Effect +++.

But I've been told that it is fan made..

There are plenty of these discs, some are real, some are fan-made.

Here is a real one someone uploaded a while ago.

Back in 2001, the original plan for the Dangerous Special edition release called for a double disc set. Disc 1 would have been the original Dangerous album digitally remastered. The 2nd disc would have been unreleased material and remixes. That idea was scrapped. Why??? We'll never know.

After that, a 2nd planned special edition set was being worked on, that would have replaced "Dangerous" with a remix version of that song. Thankfully that was scrapped.

The final release, which we have today was a digitally remastered album, with new liner notes and photos.

EDIT- I just went through my MJ news archives and found the original tracklisting of the Dangerous Special Edition releases. This came from Planet Jackson.com which was the go to site for official MJ news.

Here's what Dangerous would have looked like:

DANGEROUS Disc 1
1- Jam
2- Why You Wanna Trip On Me
3- In The Closet
4- She Drives Me Wild
5- Remember The Time
6- Can't Let Her Get Away
7- Heal The World
8- Black Or White
9- Who Is It
10- Give In To Me
11- Will You Be There
12- Keep The Faith
13- Gone Too Soon
14- Dangerous

Bonus Tracks (on additional disc):
1- Bumper Snippet (Kid)
2- Monkey Business
3- Work That Body
4- If You Don't Love Me
5- Serious Effect
6- Happy Birthday, Lisa
7- She Got It
8- Black Or White (Remix)
9- Dangerous (Alternate Version)
10- Who Is It (Remix)
