This thread is to post songs that have been coverd and also to post the original and give our opinons on whats better i'll start

Since I Don't Have You the skyliners orignaly relased the song in the 50s i think it was and was later coverd by Guns 'n' Roses its an awsome song but i prefer the original than the g'n'r version i always felt it was to classy a song for Axl to sing.

It's pointless to talk about which is better since we know the truth, but the cover is a really great listen.
 
anything that Aretha franklin, Luther Vandross and Donny Hathaway pretty much covered it for me.

I don't have youtube videos but I do prefer the GnR version of Knocking On Heaven's Door over Bob Dylans original version, I think they redid it perfectly!
 
Whitney Houstons "I Will Always Love You" is better than Dolly Partons hands down
 
For the most part, it's hard for any cover to match the original because music gets better as it ages, and for that reason ppl will generally place the original over the remake. With that being said:

I hate Mariah Carey's version of I'll Be There' esp when so many other singers try to copy her acrobatics and then sings it out of tune.
