Computer Question Help!: Avast Update...

so I keep getting this message in red saying that I'm using old version of the Avast Anti-Virus stuff & I need to update it.

Instead of paying 129.00 @ Best Buy for that to be installed, what site / how do I update this Avast stuff? I'm assuming my laptops going to shut down for good if I do not get this updated.
