Cheap restaurants in London?

I wonder if anyone knows a few. When i go to London i don't want to live on junkfood from KFC, Mac or Burger King for like 3 days. But i have no idea about cheap restuarants. It can be any kind of restaurant coz i like to try new stuff. I just love chinese/japanese though.

I prefer in the centre or London or Greenwich (near o2/Costum House Hotel)

So if anyone has tips please post them.

Most italian restaurants i went to had decent prices, around 10 to 15 pounds for a dish...

that's not that much.. Italian food is nice aswell.

Ohh Wagamama was really cool. We went there twice coz even my friend, who normally doesn't like that kind of food, loved it. It's indeed cheap and the staff there is really friendly and helpfull. We hope they will open a few restaurants here too.:hysterical:

We also went to Adam's Rib, bit more expensive but the price is ok. We didn't spent more then 20 pounds a day on eating and drinks. Without fastfood and including Starbucks hot choclate.:wub:

you'll find loads of cheap restaurants in the smaller streets around leicester square/covent garden and don't forget chinatown!

My friend didn't want to eat in China Town. I would have liked it though coz the smell from those restaurants was just like in China and I loved the dishes I had there.
