Okay we're starting to get really freaked out now. Not only have glow-in-the-dark monkeys been genetically engineered in Japan, but now somebody in China is claiming their cat has grown wings.

The story is that a cat in Chongqing was born as a perfectly normal moggie, but began developing the extra appendages at the age of 1.
While the cat cannot fly, and cannot even control the boney growths, it is not said to be in any pain. His owners suggest the cat is actually enjoying the extra attention.
Experts say the growths could be the result of a genetic mutation, or even the remnants of a conjoined twin. Of course we all know that the wings are the results of government experiments into a winged army of super beasts.
But then no one ever listens to us...
