Can you ad buttons on suit?

So, I received a beautiful suit for my birthday. The only problem is, that it's way too big. Can taylor add some buttons and make double breasted suit out of it? Is it possible?

Yeah it's possible
Adding buttons is really easy, it's the buttonholes themselves that aren't so easy, especially by hand, it's easier with a sewing machine.
