how everything went down when Michael bought the Beatles catalouge. I heard by some people that michael only owned half of some songs by the beatles and elvis, eminem and the other half was bought by sony later on.
Here was what someone wrote in a another forum


'' MJ owns half the publishing on SOME beatles songs,elvis songs,eminem songs etc, SONY bought the other half later on,which doesnt actually mean half of the songs,it means half of the publishing. ''

Is this correct?
