thus far. talking about hits, albums, tours and cultural impact and who of the two has the better chance at being a Icon long past there peak and Prime and why?
 
What is your obsession with who's better?

And obviously Britney has had the bigger career of the two thus far, but I guess Timberlake has a better chance at longevity than her.

don't act like amongest your friends that you don't have music polls and things. it is human nature duh??

all you had to say is who you pick and why end of story.
 
I'd have to say that overall I think Justin is more talented and makes better music, but Britney has obviously been more successful. Tough call really, but overall I gotta go with Britney. That might change in a few years though depending on if Justin can continue on being successful and making good music.

Well I for one am not bothered by you making these threads, at least you're trying to make interesting discussions about music. That's much better than people who just like to complain but aren't posting anything themselves.

Everyone is allowed to start threads as long as they're appropriate and goes along with the board rules. Just because you don't like the question doesn't mean the thread shouldn't have been started. If you don't like it, then don't reply anything and move on to another thread. Cheers :flowers:
 
Probably JT even though he is the former "new king of pop" he is looking so much better then the state Britney is in right now...

Nowhere did I actually say that the thread(s) shouldn't be allowed to be here. I'm allowed to question its purpose, I believe. There's no reason for a mod to get involved at all.
 
i think they're both on the same level when it comes to talent and success but obviously JT's career is in much better state atm because of all the love and support he gets from the media

When it comes to the music, I still prefer Britney (her new songs aren´t really good though). She just has had the better songs (producers....). But both will be meaningless in the future. Tomorrow they will be from yesterday.

You are off topic and trolling both against forum rules. If you don't like a topic then find another more suitable to your desires. Nor is questioning or dictating what and where the Mods duties are required by any means appropriate. They are where they need to be to help the forum run smoothly.

i think britney cus she has a better attitude, and it is reflected in her music..and she is a survivor, and she is humble. and she is highly underrated talentwise, and a terrific businesswoman.

Neither of them has made a real music contribution IMO.
At the moment, JT is doing much better than Britney, but I think Britney has still a lot of potential if she pulls it together...rewind 5 years ago and she was much MUCH bigger.
 
I also think the word "important" is overstating it, if we look at the music industry as a whole. But again, Justin Timberlake has a better shot at longevity than Britney at this point, though he's yet to equal her success. Not that he can't get there; he probably will.

But i think Justin will have more longetivity but Britney a bigger impact...I love Britney
 
Britney spears WAS the shhhh* back in the day, but it looks like JT took her shine. Britney done FELL OFF lol.

I think Britney is beginning to be pretty irrelevant, and JT has more of a chance at longevity like someone here has already stated.

Well, as long as he keeps riding on Timbaland's coat tail.

lol...how is somebody long lasting if they depend totally on somebody else? that is...one person..such as timbaland? lol
