For those of you that don't know, passport files are highly confidential. Some officials speculate government involvement in the Bush Administration, according to the media. Apparently the Bush Administration knew this happened, back in Jan. and said nothing and took no action. This is the second known major breach of his security. If the govt. is behind this, it will be like when the FBI was digging up dirt on civil rights leaders back in the 60's. I'm not going to speculate, but there's no reason this **** shouldn't have been told to him before. I'd be pissed even if it was John McCain or any other U.S. citizen. Someone tried 3 different times to dig up dirt on him to see what countries he visited.
(CNN) -- The State Department has confirmed a breach on Sen. Barack Obama's passport file.
Obama's campaign is asking for a complete investigation to find out who looked at Obama's passport file and why.
"This is an outrageous breach of security and privacy, even from an administration that has shown little regard for either over the last eight years," said Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton in a statement.
"Our government's duty is to protect the private information of the American people, not use it for political purposes.
