Good to see Motown still releasing new issues of Jackson music. I always loved those songs and still do. Back in the day I used to play the heck out of this J5 box set commemorating their 25th anniversay, "Soulsation"; I had it on casettes, and then I upgraded to CD's and still have it; I guess I used it so much that I had to re-glue the CD-holders back in the jacket, lol. . . . It's got pretty much all those songs and then a disk of unreleased/rare songs. Looks like it's out of print but you could still get it off amazon or ebay. Here's the tracklisting off amazon:

Related personal story...

I have a 16-year-old niece who is crazy about Chris Brown, Usher, and Neyo, yet, she only likes one of Michael's songs, Butterflies. I've told her time and again that they're all imitating Michael, but she didn't want to hear that. Anyways, over the Christmas holiday, I began playing this playlist:

and she started to like it.

So I said, I thought you didn't like Michael and she said, "well, I like his younger voice"...

Then, she started talking about him to her boyfriend, and much to her surprise, he said, "that's the King of Pop!" and he told her some of the same things I've been telling her about Michael & Sony/ATV for the longest.

But because her little boyfriend said it, now she's listening :doh:

I played the Motown audition and Busta Rhymes videos for her on youtube, and the questions went on & on after that. LOL!

Another new fan :smilerolleyes: I think I'll get this compilation for her.

Motown has over 200 unreleased J5 songs, plus solo stuff by Mike, Jermaine, Jackie, & Tito. They could put out the 'Farewell My Summer Love' album with the original mixes or something. But it's not just the Jacksons, Motown does this with a lot of its "classic" era acts.

If Motown wanted to, they could release a "Jackson 5 Christmas album 2" or a "The Jackson 5 sings Stevie Wonder" if they wanted

They have many tracks in their vaults
