Has anyone ever read this and felt like the story was being abandoned by the author because he takes enormous leaps into the future (like, 30 years, 50 years) just when you were getting interested on the current crisis/plot/characters? Or even started thinking about how simple was the solution to the whole Mule conundrum?
I got disappointed with the sequels to "2001: A Space Odissey" (I know, it's Clarke) so I don't know if the extra books from the Foundation Series are worth my money and time too..
