I just remember this song being so many weeks on N01 that I got used to watch it every Saturday on my fave music program. It has got a catchy tune with a strong message indeed and I absolutely love the Panther dance. It’s just art with all these emotions bubbling to the surface. :woohoo:

When it first came out at age 14 I loved the guitar part. These days I find it slightly boring.

As for the video, I can see why so many people would get bored/confused by the panther part. Not necessarily "offended", like they tried to make out on TV, but just... wanting to get on to the next song as soon as John Landis says "perfect".

Part of me wonders how much influence he took from Street Fighter II The World Warrior (released March 91).
 

This sort of thing really enforces just how magical MJ will always continue to be.
