Its was performed well, but it was not complete until bad tour, Michael also says in his autobiography that he didn't like the way Billie Jean on victory tour was staged, but yes it is awesome

Sorry to say, but I don't like this performance of michael on the victory tour. Michael was showing his moves a little bit weak, but it was his second billie jean performance after motown 25, so I can't blame him for that.
And his voice was a little bit soft, if you compare this with bad tour, he was more yelling with his voice.

The Billie Jean performance on the Victory Tour is awesome, but the performances on the Bad Tour in 1988 are even more amazing.

Michael's supposedly really felxable. No surprise, since he was given a black belt in kata. Honarary, because he didn't fight for it, but he has that level of advancement in form, which he uses in his dancing.

Michael also says that he is not completely satisfied with the Bad Tour, that's why 20 years later we still don't have it on DVD.

So maybe he should trust his fans when they say they like it. The same for Billie Jean from the Victory Tour, of course, wich is amazing IMO
