Beyonce New Album 2011: Creating Her Own Music Genre – Many music experts and fans alike can agree that Beyonce Knowles is often categorized in a league of her own. However, it seems that Knowles wants that to be a bit more literal, as she talks about trying to reinvent herself, along with a new genre of music, on her latest album.
Her last album “I am…Sasha Fierce” won Grammys and all sorts of other awards. “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” became a smash hit all over the world. However, Knowles thinks that this isn’t quite enough for her yet, saying, “I love to dance, I love to sing, and I’m actually in the studio now writing songs and producing, and I have a lot of live instruments that I’m putting into the tracks to try to change the sound and make my own genre of music.”

Although there aren’t many details known about her next album, Knowles did elaborate on her alter ego that she introduced on her last album. “Sasha Fierce is done. I killed her. I don’t need Sasha Fierce anymore, because I’ve grown and now I’m able to merge the two,” she said.
