Sources are reporting that Bey is on the verge of retirement.

According to the NY Daily news:



The diva is currently working on a new album, but her cousin Angelica Knowles tells our source that it will be her last. Instead, Beyonce plans to spend her days scouting talent for new hubby Jay-Z's upcoming label, The Carter Music Group.

Beyonce's first protege is rumored to be an R&B artist named Chelsea Thomas. Her reps couldn't be reached for comment.


I personally don't see Bey retiring anytime soon. She loves the attention too much. Now she might take a couple of years off and have some of Jay-Z's baby camels, but she won't ever retire.
 
Baby camels? LOL! I never thought about it but he really does remind one of a camel. He could be on a pack of cigs.

Well I don't see her going back to Destiny's Child. The whole point of the group was her, that's why Latavia & LeToya was kicked out from the original group (and later Farrah). Michelle, LeToya, and Kelly are doing solo albums now. Michelle has also done some Broadway plays.
 
I think she need to at least take a bit of a break if she isn't gonna retire. If you look up "over exposed" in the dictionary, her pic would be there!

Anyway, I like Beyonce and Jay-Z.
 
I like Beyonce, but I'm sort of tired of her...she's been doing non-stop performances and appearances all over the place for the last few years and doesn't even take breaks between projects. I'm over it. She should take a nice long break and come back if she wants to.

oh please that woman would die if she wasnt in the spotlight, so people could watch her slither and gyrate across a stage half naked. some of her fans only care about her looks anyway.....

i dont...looks arent my main focus although theyre a plus...i love her voice, her music, her rythym, her style, her personality, her demeanor, her lyrics, her music, her performances, her dances, HER DRIVE.....list goes on...i can never get enuff of BEYONCE!!!!

Yeah, I was going to say that...this girl NEVER STOPS. She needs to GIVE IT A REST lol. Before she gives herself a heart attack. I mean people are probably going to get sick of her too.
 
Retirement has a totally different meaning to some of these artists than it does to the average joe.
