It was a toss-up for me, between Sean and Pierce. Ultimately, I had to choose Pierce, based on the fact that the only James Bond flicks I can watch more than once are the ones Pierce was in. I love Sean Connery, but for Bond, James Bond, it's Pierce all the way for me.

Sean Connery for me. Roger Moore was very good also I thought. Dalton was okay, the others never quite cut it in my opinion. Pierce Brosnan was pretty good in Goldeneye but I found every other film since to be very poor.
