Bad Original or Bad Remaster

Bad a fantastic album so many classic tunes I have only owned the 2001 Special Edition until now, I recently got hold of Japanese first pressing of the album and immediatley noticed the differences.

Differences between this version and the newest one

- I Just Can’t Stop Loving You has the spoken introduction
- The Way You Make Me Feel has a different outro and different instrumentation like more drums
- Dirty Diana has a longer fade out with no vocals in the foreground
- In Bad you can hear more of the horns
- Smooth Criminal intro is different

Having listened to both versions I have to say I prefer 87 versions of :
Bad
IJCSLY
Smooth Criminal

which version of Bad do you prefer?

There is nothing better than the original version so I go with Bad 87.

All four of the Special Editions from 2001 sounds brilliant, but since Off The Wall & Bad are the remakes of the albums, I always listen to the originals. The tracks that let's me down the most in their newer forms are:

1. I Just Can't Stop Loving You
2. Smooth Criminal

BUT,

Dirty Diana, Bad & The Way You Make Me Feel are all better in their original form!
