Michael Jackson's former lawyer wants $3 million from the singer's estate -- he also wants an apology.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, attorney Sidney Lanier represented Jackson in several cases.

Lanier claims he repped MJ in a hotly contested case in 2005 involving former porn king and Jackson confidant Marc Schaffel. After the case, Jackson refused to pay the lawyer's fee and filed a lawsuit against Lanier claiming fraud.

Lanier alleges as a result of Jackson's suit, his reputation was sullied all over town. He claims Jackson put him through "two years of expensive, stressful litigation and ridicule..."

Lanier even goes as far as to say that he wishes Jackson hadn't died because he "wanted him to apologize for his action against me; because of his tragic death that can never happen."

And because he did not come to do this while Michael lived?
It was expected to die because the dead do not speak it?
My God when will this stop
These crows
these vultures do not get tired neverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

the only 'sorry' that creep attorney will hear is that the attorney is a sorry individual. and he's following the latest trend. suing Michael. it's pathetic. he's suing him cus others are suing MJ./the estate

ugh. they're all coming outta the woodwork now. assholes.

I remember that lawsuit. The vertict was that MJ ended up being more liable than schaffel even though it was obvious that schaffel was a liar and MJ was obviously the victim. One of the jurors admitted that many of the other jurors were prejudice against MJ because of the molestation trial and that was likely the reason why MJ didn't win all the money he was owed. Then this lawyer came out and said the vertict was a really good result for MJ.

I don't know what kind of information MJ had on this lawyer but, honestly I would be mad and refused to pay too. That doesn't make it right but I'm just saying.

BTW, 3 million dollars is absolutely an insane amount for that case.

I don't know about this case at all, so I won't coment on that.

But this is annoying -
he wishes Jackson hadn't died because he "wanted him to apologize for his action against me; because of his tragic death that can never happen."
