If she had been alive she had been 100 years 1997 and then money was collected and now
they have built a childvillage in Bouar,Centralafrica to her memory.
It has place for 150 orphans and there are also school, doctor and nurses for poor people in the area.
Sos children villages are behind it.

For those who don´t know Astrid Lindgren was a famous author for children, maybe most known for Pippi Longstocking.She cared for children and wanted them to be able to play and read books.She cared for animals too and worked for hens to have it better in Sweden.
