I feel you man. I think it is true for all of us. As much as we love our countries and are proud of our heritage, there are always things are wrong happening that the fair minded wouldn't like.

yeah. they deliberately don't observe MLK day, in that state.

Racism continues. It's not as overt as it used to be. But it's still there, sadly.

Yeah I think there are many that feel this way so you definitely aren't the only one.... I am very patriotic but there are so many things I don't like... like so many religious people who try to push you into it too, and racism, and just some of the ignorant things I see here, some really think that there's USA and no one else....

It opened my eyes up to it so much more being overseas for a year.... people don't realize just how many bad views and misconceptions people have about Americans now because of all that stuff... I kept having to tell everyone I met in Australia that no no no.... I don't own a gun, don't listen to country music, don't own a massive truck, don't say God this and God that all the time, etc... People see the ones that are like that though and thing everyone in America is a certain type. It sucks
