One cannot help but stand in awe of the sheer talent this man gave to entertainment. He, in many ways, pioneered modern music. Despite the reported issues in his personal life, that is immaterial now. While the media does 24/7 coverage of the man, myth and legend, it is my hope the media will at least give the courtesy of giving his friends, family, colleagues and other loved ones the space they need to cope with the loss. After all, fan or no fan, this loss may be as big as Princess Diana, Ronald Reagan, Elvis Presley or James Brown.
