Hi guys, I know a lot of artists sample Michael's music and I was wondering if you guys knew some songs.

For example, I know Rihanna sampled "Wanna Be Starting Somethin"
If you guys could provide some other songs from any genre, it'd be great!

That's not a sample, it's a drum pattern. A drum pattern can't be copyrighted. A sample is using a snippet of music from another record. Sampling machines didn't really exist in the early 80s. In hip-hop DJs would scratch some breakbeats or music onto their tracks with turntables, but not with a sampler. Anyway that drum pattern was in Hall & Oates "I Can't Go For That" before "Billie Jean".

^^ I'm sure these are just a tip of an iceberg. Let's keep 'em comin! I like to know about and hear songs sampling MJ's music. Artists don't sample any song. They tend to pick their personal favorites, esp. the ones that they grew up on, to show respect. Also, it's interesting to come across the songs myself.

If we break em all down, they all mean the same thing.

Reality is, I enjoy hearing hints of Michael Jackson's legacy in other artists music.
