Are these Heal the World sites real???

Hi there,

I would like to make a small donation to Heal the World, I realise it doesn't have much to do with michael anymore, but i would like to know if anyone knows anything about these 3 sites:

Are they real? Can I trust them to donate to.
I then would like to keep on making small contributions to them for as long as i can.

As you can see Heal The World For Children has a disclaimer on the bottom of the page:

"Heal The World For Children is not affiliated with, or sanctioned by, or approved by the following companies or brands:
Michael Jackson, The Michael Jackson Estate, The Michael Jackson Company, Sony, Epic/Sony Music, Heal The World Foundation
or any other entity that is associated with Michael Jackson."


That doesn't mean it's not worth giving your money to or do any efforts, though! :)
I'm a team member, and yes....all donations are fully going to the events we're having.

Heal The World Foundation has been sued by the estate because Melissa, the owner, was acting out of Michael's brand and organization while it wasn't his anymore. Don't know about the other one you mentioned there, never heard of that one actually.

dont, the chartiy doesnt excist anymore. all ones claiming to be are fake

Michael's Heal the World was closed in 2004.

See the below post from TSCM

Heal the World, as involving Michael Jackson, was formally dissolved in 2004. Its operations had stopped in late-2002. This was made official on the tax filings from 2003. Here's an old message of mine on the issue:

...I do have access to the official Heal The World Foundation tax filings through the year 2003.

The ones filed in 2003 (based on 2002 data) state, at the end:

HEAL THE WORLD FOUNDATION HAS CEASED ITS EXEMPT OPERATIONS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 10/31/2003. THERE WILL BE NO ACTIVITY FOR 2004 AND THE ORGANIZATION WILL FORMALLY DISSOLVED IN 2004.

On the form itself they also checked 'YES' to the question: "Was there a liquidation, dissolution, termination, or substantial contraction during the year?"

Thus, by all legal accounts, the foundation was dissolved in 2004.

Heal the World is no longer a charity. They closed around 2003/2004.

Heal the World for Children is great! I have donated to them, and have volunteered at their events.
 
dito the others. the charity was shut down as stated above. these sites are fake. you have been warned

... I have just my little efforts to Heal the World for the Children too :yes:
This is not fake.
The one of Melisa is fake, this has been said many, many times. Be careful :cheeky:

Jackie - I worked at the Childrens Day event on MJs bday last year. Will be doing the same this year.

I also donated money
 
Los Angeles.

We will be doing it again this year.

There will be HTWFC events in LA, NYC, UK, and others all on MJs bday.
