Hey! I was wandering around on pinterest (of course looking at a Michael board) and i stumbled upon these two pics. SO CONFUSING. Can someone verify that they're shopped (obviously something is up with the floating milk...) They're funny pictures nonetheless.

I remember seeing those pics leaked back in the day (before the internet/photoshopping), so I seriously doubt it. The images do look cleaned up, like they were digitally restored or something. I had pictures of my parents redone and cleaned up of their wedding day, but the image wasn't altered.

Michael liked to have fun with adults too, folks. He used to frequent Studio 54 in its heyday, which wasn't exactly the Mickey Mouse Club.
 
so you don't think it was altered?? i'm confused about the milk haha.
 
ohh i see. i guess the milk was plastic or something.
i didn't know mike liked smirnoff vodka!
 
Maybe he didn't take a sip of that? Maybe he was just posing like he did with Frank's cigarette on that bad tour pic. Or perhaps he had a thing for stronger beverages lol who knows the man was full of surprises but the milk pic always got me thinking :unsure:

But doubt MJ was really drinking (not that he didn't drink alcohol on occasion, but definitely not when rehearsing Captain EO stuff. That's what this is from. Those 2 little people were from Captain EO).

Was probably just messing around (like the pic with him holding a cig from bad tour).
 




the picture was taken in 1986 during the rehearsals for the filming of Captain EO. The two girls in the photo Cindy Sorenson and Debbie Carrington play one of the characters in MJ’s flight crew in the film.

The floating milk thing is just a gag. Reminds me of when I was a kid, we always used to make those in school.. where you would take some paper mache for the 'milk' and paint it white and put an empty milk carton on it, you know?:D
 
The first picture is not photoshopped as far as I know, but I am unsure of the last one...

It was definitely NOT water, Michael was known as a drinker especially mixed drinks and beer... I am unsure if he was used with vodka but anyhow he was a drinker!

I guess he filled it up with water before taking the picture, Michael is a professional. ;D He doesn't seem to be drinking from it though, his lips appear to be closed.
 
No not photo shopped, as someone else already said - the first picture was on the set of Captain Eo - it's been around forever, can't remember the first time I saw it but it still makes me laugh.
 
No offense to anyone, just stating what I've observed over the years...

I've never understood why it was so unfathomable to some fans that Michael was capable of/did engage in adult-natured activities lol. As a performer, he understood his responsibilities as a role model and pushed to maintain a clean public image. But behind the scenes, when he was off the clock, he was Michael the adult man. He was a very virtuous man, but an adult man nonetheless.

I've heard more stories of people being present when Michael was drinking than to the contrary. Doesn't make him a functional alcoholic or anything lol, just means he'd take a little taste socially every now and then. I mean......

Totally agree.

Like it's so outrageous that he's drank alcohol over the years, despite at one time saying he did not. Who cares?

I'm sure he did a lot of adult things and maybe even sometimes mean/rude/cold/etc in some cases.


I'll always love that footage from the making of Stranger In Moscow where Michael kinda showed his real self.

He appeared to be taking a picture with a fan who, I assume, donated money to a charity for the chance to meet MJ in person or something.

He looked like he'd rather be anywhere else but there :D

who said it was completely strange for Michael to drink? of course he probably did! just look at his porno mags, Michael was a normal dude in that sense! ;)

I knoooow, when I first saw it I said to myself "damn it'd be cool to be a fly on THAT wall" lol. Legends all over the place :wub:. Looks like the WATW crowd, but I digress lol...
