I've seen a few threads but nothing concrete: is anyone planning to meet to watch the memorial? Did anyone hear back from the O2 as to whether they are planning on showing it there?

I feel like I don't really want to watch it at home alone and I want to be with fans who understand how inconsolable I am.
 
I would really appreciate it if we could watch the broadcast of the memorial somewhere in public. I come to London on tuesday and would love to meet with other fans and to not be alone on this sad day..
 
The O2 I believe may be planning to broadcast it. I'm hoping to hear back from the tomorrow.

That would be truly appreciated! I can write an email to them aswell-but what should I ask? Just if they have anything planned or..?
 
I just wrote "hi. just wanted to know if you had any plans to screen the michael jackson memorial service on tuesday " that way they know people are keen and people will come
 
I have emailed them the following:

Hello 02 Customer Services Team,

I am writing to desperately request that you play the funeral coverage of Michael Jackson on one of your outdoor video screens tomorrow for all those fans who do not have an alternative place to watch it. I am a traveller and do not have a TV that I can access to watch this. I have been a fan for 30 years now and Michael's death has affected me greatly.

At this time, the fans need to be together. Many of us are finding it hard to find an outlet to deal with our own grief at his passing and the funeral is critical for us to have closure on what is a very painful truth to face.

Please, I implore you to screen his funeral for us so that we can gather together to pay our respects to Michael.

I do understand that you have had some property damaged by some school kids who used marker to write on the steps by your video screen. However I can assure you that the fans are not interested in destroying any 02 property, we just need a place to say our goodbyes.

Can you please notify us as soon as possible.
