Anyone know what the thick material of some of MJ's shirts is called?

This is killing me. I've been looking for ages and ages to find out what this thick material of some of Michael's shirts is called, but I can't find anything at all!

Anybody know?

The blue one- and the black one - look like needlecord ....a very fine corduroy. I don't know if that is what it is called now / or indeed everywhere, but that was the UK name for it back in the day when I did dressmaking etc.
(I've just looked up needlecord on google, and it gives 'pincord' as an alternative.)

The red shirts looked like a heavy denim type fabric, usually 100% cotton, and sometimes with a brushed finish - but I've definitely seen MJ wear red needlecord shirts too. (in photos, that is).
