Recognized her on TV several years ago but I didn't take note until several days ago.

I'm falling in love with Like a Star. I really love her husky soulful voice. I'm planning to purchase her album, which contains Like a Star.

I quite like the track. I enjoy some of her more upbeat songs though... she did a good version of "Where Is The Love" with John Legend I also enjoy. But yeah, Like A Star is my favorite track on her album.

shes from my city so i see her quite abit when im working at concerts. shes got a great voice. dont know if she will be doing alot though after losing her husband.saw her not long after and she looked pretty drained as u would expect

And she's not going to work on the music industry again?

Yeah her husband passed away a few months back if I remember correctly. I bought her album straight after ' Put your records on'. she's got a good voice..and must have done Leeds proud for sure! :)

I wanted to bring tis thread back because she is SUCH a great artist and I bought her album a while ago, and I have family member that like her alot. Recently, I was checking out a few of her interviews and live performances like:

I think she seems like an amazing person, and her music and her live performances are amazing
I think it's so sad and unfortunate that she lost her husband and my prayers are with her.
I wonder if she ever plans to record again, cause I havent heard much of anything about her lately. Though if she doesnt record, I could see how that would be her decision.
