anybody into Esperanza Spalding?

alot of footage of her on youtube.com she is a very good bass player and vocalist. jazz versatile artist. she is only 24 years old.she has performed on Jimmy Kemmel and David letterman. very atttractive and talented young artist that might make you think of Norah Jones.

I had never heard of her until this very morning when our local news did a spot on her.
She has a lot of talent and I commend her on her work.
But I'm not the biggest jazz enthusiast around. I have to be in the mood. Lol!
Therefore I wasnt all that thrilled but I did enjoy her segment on the show.

BTW, they said she was 23 years old...but w/e. Right?

i really admire her talent. i first came across her on TV doing a live session in Abbey Road studios with some rock band (like a fusion collab). she kind of seems like a hyped-down, less explosive Rachelle Ferrell.
