Haiti was today hit by a second massive earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale.

Witnesses reported shaking buildings and desperate people wailing in terror as they ran into the streets in panic.

Last week's quake - which killed an estimated 200,000 people - measured 7.0.

Oh my god, oh my!!

We gotta help - sending our money and prayers!

NO!

This is horrible... oh God. :( My prayers are with Haitians.

It's incredible that they still find children alive from the ruins, after 8 days!

yeah its "just" an aftershock. not a actual earthquake. happens all the time after one

6.0 though.. is that not bad?.. thought it would be in the news if it was but the original one was 7.0 - is there much difference? there were a few aftershocks of around 5.0 straight after the first. Or is an aftershock completely different to an earthquake..? My A level geography teacher would not be pleased with me not knowing this :/

Aftershock is also an earthquake  They are just not as big as the 'actual' earthquake.
I think 6.0 is quite bad but it probably didn't affect there so badly since all the buildings had already collapsed.. I don't know
