I'm currently reading the book The Demonologist which sort of discusses whether spirit activity is real or not and kinda intertwines with the career of the Warrens.

The account in the book regarding Annabelle is far more chilling than anything in the first film - besides maybe the sequence in the lift/laundry room.

John R. Leonetti (Director of MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNIHILATION and the Direct to DVD Sequel THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT 2) is not involved with this film. He already did another shitty horror film this year in that of WISH UPON. David F. Sandberg (Director of last year's inventive horror film LIGHTS OUT) is directing this film.

I liked Lights Out, on the whole.
