Hello there.
I know that there is a world music thread, but I just had to open this thread and dedicate to an angel who is not among us anymore, and hasn't been since November of last year...
Toshe Proeski was a Macedonian singer, who changed the face of Balkan's pop music. He wasn't only a singer. But also a great humanitarian as well. He had a calm, peaceful and shy personality and he didn't give in to fame.
Some even called him the Michael Jackson of Balkan.
Unfortunately, Toshe died in a car accident at the age of 26, when a huge truck hit his car while he was on his way from Serbia to Croatia, to talk about the planned album on English, one that he was looking forward to so eagerly...
So even though you don't understand the songs in Macedonian or Serbian, I hope you enjoy the wonderful voice of his. You can hear an angel sing. An angel who is now where he belongs...In heaven.
