American Idol is gearing up to do an Inspiration theme week, and surprisingly enough, there isnt a single MJ song on there (aside from J5 Ill Be There) that has become so cliche on the show. How can they do inspiration week without the most inspirational human being ever??? anyway i sent them an email telling then theyre making a big mistake, and even sent them MJ suggestions to put in there. his songs alone can be enough to use in the show :) If you guys want to do to the same that would be great, people need to hear the beautiful words of songs like "On the Line", "We've Had Enough", "Heal The World" and soooooooo many more!!

here's their email if you want to give them a piece of your mind idol.web@fox.com

hm.. that is strange. But I think will you be there would be just amazing for that week... You know what, scratch that. Hardly anyone can do justice to MJ's music so yeah, it's probably for the best.

They had MJ week on the show last year. Maybe they will have one this year.

Haven't watch American Idol since Jordin sparks season and I was a big fan of the show from season one til then.

The contestants pick their own songs right?

I was watching it earlier and it does appear that they pick their own songs, Ellen asked Aaron and he said yeah he picked it and a couple of others mentioned picking the songs too.

So, i'm guessing in "inspiration week" they pick a song from whoever has inspired them. When you look at it like that makes sense that MJ isn't on there, we can't expect him to have inspired every singer on the planet.
