on another website people were discussing younger artists imitating mj and here what she said
thats what they are (artist) are supposed to do. that just shows how great mj is. michael set a blueprint for modern day pop music. michael made to a point where if you going to be a pop star and you wanna be great michael jackson is who you have to study otherwise you wont make it. he set the status quo of what pop culture is and there is no way you can go around being like michael jackson. he litterally IS pop music. that just shows the greatness and the legacy of who mj was. people will forever know who michael jackson is. its a testement to who he was as an artist. seeing usher,cb,jt, and even justin beiber and this jerulo kid copy him keeps his legacy going on forever. thats what you want as an artist is to be so great that you set a blueprint or standard and have other artist follow it. that way pop music will forever belong to the king.
