So, do you think this group is any good? Do any of you follow their careers and buy their CD's, go to their concerts, ect. ?

Despite their dashing good looks and personality, I think they're a mediocre group at best. But they do earn props because Taryll plays the guitar.
 
I like 3t. I'm wouldn't say that I'm a fanatic but some of their music is really nice to listen to. Have they completely stopped touring now then? I heard Taryll was going to go solo. It just makes me wander what Taj and TJ might do.

Taryll also wrote a good bunch of material for the debut album along with TJ. Taryll's Memories and Words Without Meaning are nice soulful cuts. my favourite from that album is Sexual Attention by Robin Thicke. and of course the tune Why feat. MJ which was penned by Babyface.

the second album is nearly as good, and wholly written and produced by the bros. I Appreciate and Stubborn are crackers.

I really think they have what it takes to be a great group. Taryll is by far the most talented to me. It's a shame that they didn't make it big here in the U.S. I hope to see them or Taryll in the future real soon. I have both of their cd's but I have never seen them perform live in concert. The people that I know who have seen them tell me that they put on a great concert.

Identity is my favorite of the 2 albums. I don't know what you mean by crackers but I love those 2 songs..:punk:

yep, he's shown us a lot of talent. Stubborn is fully his conception, probably the best tune i've heard from them. very soulful.


Identity is my favorite of the 2 albums. I don't know what you mean by crackers but I love those 2 songs..:punk:

I thought 3T were are really good band, and I'm surprised they haven't kept a high profile as they built up a big following in the UK and Europe.

Oh!!! Ok!!! Maybe there's a chance that we might see something from them. You know with NKOTB trying to make a comeback, 3T could do the same.:yes:
 
they were in every mag when i was growing up...lol the bob's and bb, tiger beat and so on....blame sony on that one

i love 'guilty' 'stubborn' and 'detour' and i absolutely love every son on brotherhood except 'it's gotta be u' ! it's too corny
 
I didn't know they were under Sony's label, too. They should've done a better job promoting them. I didn't even know they had other CDs besides Brotherhood until I looked them up on youtube and Myspace.
 
i am a fan of 3T...i wish they would have gotten more promotion though...they only really got promoted in Europe...here in australia we only really heard about "brotherhood" in the 90's and even then it wasn't that big...I had to search the net to find out about 'Identity' and I loved that album....

I don't think they are mediocre at all..they are talented musicians (especially Taryll)...they have just been marketed as boyband group, which makes it hard to be taken as serious musicians i suppose...
 
I like 3t. I have both albums. Identity is the better of the 2. Taryll is a very talented songwriter and producer.
 
I loved their music alot, my fav song of course was Why? I'd love to see them back again, just need to be promoted better than last time. Also they could do support on a tour for an artist like Pink (isn't she friends with family?).
 
I love Stuck On You and Tease Me. Has anyone heard Alright?? That one is a really nice song. I wish it wasn't unreleased though. :)
 
I think they have such great potential...they may have gone far had they not had the Jackson surname...a classic example of how your family name can both further and detriment your career.

I do miss 3T! I was quite literally obsessed wth them donkeys years ago that was ofcourse! :p

I like them! I just got listening to some of their stuff on youtube. Were they played much on the radio? I had never heard of them before I heard of them through MJ stuff though I was kind of in my own world back then just raising my kids with no attention to what was happening in music, or anywhere else for that matter.

I really like "Stuck on you". I haven't heard much so far though other than "Why" with MJ.
 
I'm still an active 3t fan. Taj has a blog he tries to update frequently (LOL), Taryll logs in to his myspace page every now and then and posts songs he's been working on, and TJ has dissapeared.

The boys still play baseball in their team "K9 Dawgs". They won last season, and are doing terrible at the moment......LOL!

I run a 3t forum, the few active 3t fans that are left come there to discuss 3t :)

They are their uncle Mikey's nephews for sure... I hope the Jackson 5 do a reunion tour and use 3T as their opening act............... MICHAEL ARE YOU READING THIS??????????????:clapping::clapping:

Do you know what would be cool? If Michael collaborated with 3T again. He should do something with them on his new album.
 
I've had their Brotherhood album for years (since 2004), and while I love it, I always thought they were just a one-hit wonder. However, I just downloaded their Identity album today from Itunes, and I'm really enjoying it, much more than Brotherhood. Some beautiful songs and singing on this album.

So yeah, I like 3T. :) I hope they release a third studio album, and don't fade away.
