I was just watching the 30th Anniversary concert on TV One and noticed Lavelle Smith as one of the dancers. Later in Shake Your Body Down to the Ground, I heard Jackie yell out "Break it down, Foot!" That made me think that Jim "Sugarfoot" from most of the Jackson tours and from This Is It must have been playing drums.
Then as the credits came on at the end I noticed Greg Phillinganes was part of the band along with David Williams, Jim "Sugarfoot" Mouffet (sp?), and Michael Bearden. So now I'm very curious as to how many "long-time" Michael Jackson players were involved in the concerts, mainly the band.
Thanks.
