As we all know, Michael Jackson was heterosexual. Some author suggested he was gay, but that's just speculation. Jackson explained how the press made up a lot of lies about him incl. allegations of homosexuality in order to turn the public against him. Jackson explained in a song how the press will falsely call people a "homosexual" or a "bisexual". True! But I'm now reading from a Jackson hater in the thread linked above that he was a homophobe... I don't believe that for a second (it's complete bollocks), but I have a question. Has Jackson ever had any LGBT friend? Has he ever said anything in support of LGBT?



Labelling a thread 'Michael Jackson - Paedophile (Continued)' does not constitute abusive behaviour, accusing MJ of paedophilia, cussing him out, saying he needs to rot in Hell, etc. does not constitute abusive behaviour, telling an MJ supporter (also a Madonna fan): "**** OFF PEDO APOLOGIST" does not constitute abusive behaviour, calling all MJ supporters (incl. Madonna's own fans) pedophile apologists is not abusive behaviour, but standing up to MJ in a polite and civilized manner, providing arguments and sources constitutes "abusive behavior", and I've got a one-day suspension and a warning. They can go f*@# themselves for all I care.

Trust me, I was very polite to all of them (no insults, no personal attacks), I made good points and provided sources. To the one that cussed at me, I asked them to take their "**** off" where the sun don't shine. If THAT's what that mod sees as "abusive behavior", then they have a problem. Maybe the mod took issue w/ the nicknames I came up for those crooks: ROBson, SafeCHECK and Dan GREED, but all those members can insult MJ in the foulest ways possible, and that's proper behaviour?

I've never had any issue on that board except when I discuss anything political in the 'General Topics' section. Some people are like that; if you don't agree w/ them at 100% on a particular topic, they will get very angry, will insult you, throw a fit but accuse YOU of acting improperly. Pathetic at best, and I don't give a ****! They've lost a member.

I am not sure he said anything in public to show support to the LGBT-community, but he was fully aware many of his fans and colleagues in the music business and dance industry were gay, bisexual or something else. He once asked to stop the recording of an interview in the late 70s (if I remember the time frame correctly) after the interviewer asked him if he was gay. Of the record he told the interviewer he was not gay, but he didn't want his gay fans to change their perception of him. He also worked with a lot of choreographers that were known to be part of the LGBT community. Don't want single out any names here. He loved working with them on many occasions (tours), so he probably was open minded about other being LGBT.

Edit: I read the discussion on the mentioned forum. You gave them facts (and you stayed very respectful to them) but they are not open for the idea the truth is different then presented by Wade and James. So let them believe what they want, they only will believe the other site of the story when it's presented by mainstream tabloid media and that might never happen.

He worked with Freddie Mercury for goodness sake lol and Lavell Smith (his head dancer) is gay also. MJ was around gay people most of his life. If you work in entertainment you are bound to become friends with some gay people.

I watch a deposition clip and Michael clearly said it doesn't bother him that people are gay this was during the Mark Schaffle case where Michael found out he directed gay porn without ever informing MJ. Michael didn't hate gay people at all. He was more annoyed at Schaffle doing gay porn more than anything else. He's never said he dislikes gay people.

(Leaning toward demi since he did seem genuinely sexually attracted to LMP and Debbie.) I'm ace myself, so I'm probably biased, but hear me out. He seemed utterly baffled by the way that most people make things sexual when they're not intended to be. The fact that he not only didn't initially see things as sexual, but still didn't see them that way after it had been pointed out (referring not just to his interactions with kids, but also stuff like certain dance moves), makes me think there was something on the ace spectrum going on. He definitely was heteroromantic, but that's a separate thing from sexuality.

I've actually done quite a bit of academic writing about asexuality, and my Master's thesis on this topic includes a footnote about MJ. The reason for this is because certain things about Mark Twain strongly suggest that he may have been ace, and some of these things have parallels with Michael. I won't get on too much of a tangent here, but the major one is that Twain also was friends with kids and even shared his bed with them, and there was nothing sexual about it, even though it raised a lot of eyebrows.

I know people debate about whether or not asexuality falls within LGBT, but regardless of your thoughts on that, I thought this might be relevant here.

Urvino, Mikky Dee, what's ironic is that Madonna herself loves MJ and has never publicly disparaged him. She even defended him during the whole Martin Bashir controversy.
